I was at Astons Specialties with my family on the 27th May, Tuesday (night - near to closing hours).

We ordered Chicken Spaghetti and Prime Sirloin, I specifically told your staff for the Chicken Spaghetti to be Non-Spicy and to separate the sauce and the Prime Sirloin to be well done. When the food was being served, it was totally a disappointment as the instructions that I've told your staff was TOTALLY not Noted at all! The Chicken Spaghetti came was Spicy, Sauce was not separated and the Sirloin was not even well done. Instructions was specifically given to your staff about the Spaghetti was because the food is meant for my kid whom doesn't take spicy food at all.

Besides that, the staff who took my orders, she's wearing the white polo tee with long hair doesn't looked quite happy when we ordered our food!
Was it because it was near to the closing time, that she had to take our orders in a hurry and with an unhappy attitude? I notice there is a difference in the uniforms between the t-shirt and polo tee. Are the ones in polo tee, the supervisor/ manager and the ones in t-shirt, the servers? Is she the supervisor/ manager? If she is, I think the management should really look into this matter seriously!

Because to my surprise, when the food was served, I ask your the other staff, the one in t-shirt, and told her about my orders. She apologized and changed my food immediately. At that moment, I was very furious about this matter and there's this guy in polo tee who was doing table visiting came over to me and calm me down nicely and politely. Well the girl in t-shirt and the guy in polo tee definitely sounds and looks so much friendlier then the one who took my orders.

Through this bad experience, I'm now having second thoughts of visiting Astons again.

I hope the management will look into this matter and hope this kind of situation will not happen again, else it will definitely affect the rest of your customers.

Yours Sincerely,
Suzanna Ong.

I visited your new outlet in Jurong East today at 1145am and was utterly dissappointed.

Firstly, the burgers (which was why i was there in the first place) was not available. That is the Ieat Super Burger and Beef Jacky Burger.

So i ordered the grilled fish with herb. The fish came with a starchy and pastey sauce which was horrid to eat and the sides are terribly miserable

My friend ordered the chicken burger which was stale and bland and hardly had anything on it, not to mention any sides or even fries.

It was a horrible experience altogether. I will stick to going to the one at serangoon gardens. The Jurong East outlet was just utterly dissappointing.

Hey I don't understand y r ppl complaining about using blog as a website. was there any law against this.

BTW Suzanna you are really unreasonable. You expect a five star service from Teenage who work there. Com on Grow up.

I think Aston serves great food with great price and in a wonderful environment. U cannot ask for more.

Keep it up Aston!

I must compliment your Express outlet at Bedok. Fast service always, even at peak mealtimes, and steak doneness is accurate-- medium rare is really medium rare! I love your skinny fries and onion rings (though i think portions could be a bit bigger).

No fear of any mix-up of orders too, as customers can always check their receipt to verify, it's a fail-proof system really. Can't understand why some people here can still complain.

Hi,

I've tried the express outlet in bedok interchange, the gentlemen who introduce himself as billian is very friendly and helpful. He help me and my kid clean the table and offer menu to us like what restaurant used to have. The cashier was also patient when explaining in very detail the different type of beef ASTONS has and teaches me how to mix and matches side dish thats suits my kids and myself. i would say their customer service and professionalism is good enough for such a small coffeeshop stall like this. What do u guys expect, do read up more on botak jones, madjack and crazy angmo, they are even worse.

Just my 2 cents

After reading many rave reviews about astons i finally had the chance to give it a try. I work in katong but the queue there is always that long. Imagine the delight when i heard from my friends that there was in a branch in serangoon about 10 mins aways from my house!!! I tried the wagyu which costs around 40 i think and it is probably the best steak that i have ever eaten. The service was also promnt and friendly and i think the boss of the place was constanly checking on us to see how the food was to the extent that it made us felt like we were celebrity. I really think that you guys should chill out. With such a good price and service i would not bother going anywhere else for now. Unless there happens to be a cheaper and nicer steak somewhere ? HEHE!!!! Kudos to Astons for bringing good wagyu to the masses.

Do you have set lunch at Astons Specialities?
If you have, how much it is?
what comes?
until what time can I have the set lunch?

astons said...

All our main course comes in a set of main dish with 2 side dishes. We do not have a fix lunch set menu as we encourage diners to mix and match what they prefer. Our menu is the same throughout the operating hours. Thank you for your enquiry.

Hi Astons! I had always been a fan of Astons as I am a beef fan. I am so glad that Astons allows me to have my favourite beef without burning holes in my wallet. Anyway I will like to compliment your staff at the Katong Branch. Despite the crowd, your staff were very efficient and I will like to compliment your manager if i am not wrong he is called Felix. His service is exactly what's missing in most restaurant now. Despite being a "budget" place to eat, Felix managed to make my mum and I had the most memorable dinner there. My mum is quite picky with her food (and i try not to argue with her about this) and Felix was patient enough to note down all the things she requested for. Thank goodness everything was served the way she requested if not i will get another nagging from her after the long queue with an empty stomach. As a general, i love Astons and the great service that i get here.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hi, I brought my young daughter to the Jurong East branch last night. It was a disappointment as I ordered the spaghetti and I asked the staff whether it can be non-spicy and the answer was yes. However, when the dish came, it was still spicy as there are red and green bell peppers in the sauce. If you are unable to serve a non-spicy version, you could have informed me and I would have ordered the salmon spaghetti. Very disappointed with that.

My husband and I had dinner last wednesday, July 2nd, at Astons Prime. I had to say that the Wagyu Ribeye Beef is great. So is the Maryland Crab Cake, there is chunks of crab meats.

My Friends told me that Astons opened another outlet in Cathy, will pop by some other day.
Keep it Up!

Hi Aston's! I'm a big fan of your resto and just had a visit yesterday at the new Cathay branch. As usual, it was hit and had a very long queue! But it was all worth it with the Prime rib eye and the New york strip we ordered. You guys really know what good steak is and i give all my congrats to you. Great price and servings as well. Noticed that you are using a blogspot, have thought of having a new website soon? Thanks! More power.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to feedback on my bad experience today at astons(nus). It happened at around 1900hrs. I am a student of nus and decided to had my dinner at your place but turned out to be a bad day for me. As i approached the cashier to place my order, the guy was so rude, with a bad attitude. While i had place my order halfway, he can can even ask me to wait and answer a phone call from his handphone. I even got to wait till he is done so that i can continue to place order. In fact, i never encounter this problem before at your branch in nus. Besides that, the staff who took my orders, he was wearing the white polo tee and looked quite unhappy when i ordered my food!
I notice there is a difference in the uniforms between the t-shirt and polo tee. Are the ones in polo tee, the supervisor/ manager and the ones in t-shirt, the cooks? Is he the supervisor/ manager? If he is, I think the management should really look into this matter seriously!

Through this bad experience, I'm now having second thoughts of visiting Astons again.

I hope the management will look into this matter and hope this kind of situation will not happen again, else it will definitely affect the rest of your customers.

Yours regard,

Steven Lim

Dear Mr Steven,

First and foremost, I would like to apologise for my late response and to thank you for your valuable feedback. After the investigation, the manager on shift, Billion was actually attached from our Bedok outlet. He has admitted his mistakes and regretful on what had happened. We have issued him a verbal warning letter. However, he will be put on a longer probation period in his managerial role before he could be confirmed. Should he commit the same mistake again, we will not hesitate to remove him as such behaviour will not be tolerated in our company. We would like to ensure you that we will make every effort to train our employees in order to provide better service.

Once again, we would like to apologize to you on this incident.

Thank you.

To: All

I am forwarding what astons had reply to me. I feel that no matter what ashtons still lose to botak jones in term of services.

So plsease do consider before patronize them.
