Quality & Value for money
My 1st visit to Astons Specialities was a pleasant one with good food and services. However, my 2nd visit to Astons Express at the newly opened Tampines outlet was quite a let down. My iEat Super Burger had the bacon strips missing which was served to me on a seperate plate thereafter, probably after the cook realised it!My side of the usual fries was out so I chose the corn on the cob. It was ok to do without the fries but the corn was a super let-down as it was overcooked and soggy. It should have been thrown into the waste bin instead of being served. If the cook cannot even prepare the corn the right way, he should be sacked! It is a simple fare that is so overlooked in this case! It may just be the Express outlet but please do look into simple details like the sides as it affects the whole meal!
My visit to Astons Express located at tampines was great. That day, I brought my family along to try out Astons as I've previously tried and thought that the food was great. I particularly like the Grill Fish and the Lemon Lime Chicken which was recommended by the cashier. Secondly, the food was served hot and the cold side dish I ordered was served chilled. Beside, the service of the staff was excellent too. Whatever I requested for was served to me as soon as possible even though it is during the peak hours with long queue.Overall, my family and I was satisfied with the quality of food and service standard and will definitely visit the again.Keep up the good work! (:
My 1st try of Aston at Tampines was definitely not a let-down.. I love de food, so yummy! & cheap..
I am elated over the new Astons at Tampines St 11. Been waiting for it to open as I have been a long time fan of the steaks. Cant find the menu on this blog though! Wanted to recommend it to my collagues but need to email them the menu.
I was satisfied with the recommendation given by the cashier & the great quality of food the other day when I visited this outlet. The salmon and Ribeye steak recommended by her was great together with wide range of sides.will definitely visit again. Great job! Just a suggestion, maybe you guys should post up your menu or something?
My 1st experience with this branch was quite pleasant. I ordered takeaway and it still tasted good upon reaching home... But the 2nd time I went and ordered takeaways was a total disappointment- I ordered the bbq sauce chicken chop and the lemon lime chicken chop. The chicken pieces was clearly undersized which I wouldnt complain given the price I paid for it BUT both orders were burnt! And every bite tasted charred and bitter... I hope the owners behind aston's will do something about it because having things like these happening will destroy the reputation they had taken so long to build up...Another sign I see is that the employees are pretty young-teenagers! I sure hope the cooks aren't youngsters too because if they are I hope they wont serve up failed products of their training. Because I find it disappointing that a proper cook/chef wasn't even able to do proper grilling?
The steak at tampines was soaking wet with sauce, not grilled and dry, steak was also curled up- too much veins. Compared to Bukit Timah and East Coast, this outlet does not live up the the standard. Do they all use the same standard of meat?
i been to tampines blk 139 outlet around last week afternoon the food there was not really pleasing to me...and the staff there was sitting outside, can understand that they need rest but at least serve some standard food out...somemore the indian or malay guy manager attiude was not very good...i hope that something can be DONE...i hope my next visit to astons won't be a let down...
