Sunday 25th Jan - CLOSE
Monday 26th Jan - CLOSE

Our outlets will resume our business operations on 27th Jan except the following :
Sixth Ave /Ang Mo Kio outlets - 28th Jan
Serangoon outlet - 30th Jan

Hi to all,

Astons is getting from bad to worse. They do not give their staff overtime pay, bonuses, increment etc. They always demand their staff to work more. In fact, Astons at serangoon is better.

What Miss A has commented is right. Astons always like to abuse their authority and insists their staff to do it without asking. I did not given a day off expect few hours off.

well, it depends on which outlet you are working at. the outlet i'm working at is fine. the staff are all really nice and it's actually fun to work there.

Is not true at all. They demand that u need to work these and that. sad that astons is getting bad. so hence, i hope people think twice before they work in astons.

Anyway... to read what you have to say is really sad... sad that you have a job and still whining about it.

In my line of work (audit), I go to different companies that have people lose their jobs or have tp take pay cuts, bonus cut backs... etc... Come on... live in reality... The Economy isn't all it used to be... and Astons will be affected too...

com mon, as we got a standard of 12 hrs, we always ask to stay and wrk extra. Have you guys ever wondered why do astons changed of manpower every now and then? Think carefully, and ya will know what happen to it. Astons is just too greed, if the economy is bad, they still have the ability to open so many outlets. They did not care about their staff and sooner they will collapse. They can open outlets but not in a hasty way which lack of staff and complained.

I ate at Astons at Sembwg Shopping Cntre yesterday.The food was good. But one malay girl with a long hair spoilt my day. Her service was unbelievable. Why on earth does Astons recruit her??? Her work relly shows that she has no experience. I think Astons really needs to choose their staff wisely. But whatevr it is, the food was good and are very affordable.

And if i were to come back,i think i would rather not go to that outlet anymore. I felt sorry for the rest of the staff & the manager,but the service that the 'girl' gave was horrible. All i want was a quality service.

To be honest i dun think that life is fair,But if every morning wen u wake up in the morning and count your blessing you'll found out tat your life is actually better than other unfortunated.pls be considerate of those staff and management who still need and love this Astons Family.You won't make other's life happier by tearing down Astons, you will only cause other's suffer with your selfishness. If you really not happy bout the job you can always look for the 1 you think is better but not asking the company to reach your expectation wen you'r not the boss. Money, yes it's important but wat for u stay at Aston if only for the sake of the little money (u mention)only without thinking of wat you have learn in Aston? If your answer is your didnt learn anything at Astons then well my friend you've missed a lot of things in your life. How about have a job at PSA ? they pay really well, but can u take up the job? if yes, y choose Aston at e 1st place? Yes F&B line has alwaly been a ugly line tat's y we try to make it better for for ourself and others.Life's short so y waste your time complaining it but not try to look for another way and enjoy it? Miss ADE... fell free to shoot back if after you question yourself the 1 i ask and think it's meaningless to you.think about it cos good intention will never sounds sweet.have a nice day miss.

To Astons Management

The customer service at Sembawang outlet sucks bigtime. Today a group of 7 of us went there for the first time, ordered our food before our neighbour tables left right. Only 5 orders were served. Despite our repeated request to waiting staff that 2 orders have not been served, no actions were taken. we waited for more than half an hour. Finally got hold of the manager, told him what happened, no immediate appologies given. This really piss us off.

I'm appalled at the quality of food at astons. I'm sitting at the Cathay branch now and there was a hair in my friends double up chicken chop. The manager said he would have it replaced but it was brought back in under give minutes and it was quite obvious it was the same two cuts and they simply put more gravy on the piece which had the hair on it.
I'm posting from my mobile phone and my check number is 50159 table 2-1. 21-02-2009 11:48am served by 5004 Edward.

I notice that the bedok branch had a change of managment and staffs.They provide better service even when they are short of staff as i can see.Matter of facts the food standard has improve.One of the manager told me that the coffee shop will be going renovation soon,that good news.Well done and keep up the good jobs.Will be looking forward towards the new stall in bedok.

Truly disappointed with Astons at sembawang. My family went to the Sembawang outlet yesterday. We enquired the serving portion of the Celebrities beef, and was told it serve well for two. When it was being served, we were so stunned to see that it could at most be enough for one. The worst is the side dish baked potatoes were burnt and the soup were served cold!!! When we requested for the grounded pepper, the waitress told us that they don't serve it. But we are stunned to see it at the counter!

Today as we are also near the Sembawang outlet, we decided to give it another chance. We placed our orders and requested our soup to be served hot. Patiently we waited, but neither our cutlery nor drinks was being served. We requested for our soup to be served 3 times, then only a bowl of the soup was served. We need to continuously request it before the second bowl was served. It has past half an hour, then the third bowl was served! It has past 45 minutes but no drinks nor food was served to us. But the customers at the table next to us, who reached much later than us, have already finished eating their food! We were all hungry and thirsty, and decided to walk out of the place. We went to the cashier to pay the bill. To our astonishment when we enquired for the bill, the cashier rudely replied our order was not being entered into the system, which was why no food was served. Is that our mistake when such incident happened and are we the ones to be penalised? Is this the serving attitude of Astons?

Food at Aston Katong has gone down in standard! It has so difference from the Aston i had when it was in a coffee shop. Even the plain water smells funny! Please review your food standard!
